Specific site: remembering is never a faithful copy
The proposal is to approach the concept of memory as a living and interactive entity moving through space and time. A metaphor of how we interact with objects and the environment and the relation of this with the digital world.
This audiovisual live coding performance is constituted by a virtual VR space where 3D photogrammetry sculptures and sound are being distorted in real time. The performer connects different live coding tools such as Hydra and Orca into an experience of travel through different live coded universes on this DIY browser instrument.
Flor de Fuego (Florencia Alonso) it’s a digital-craft artist that mainly works with programming and live coding in order to create performative experiences. Her research rounds concepts like the body, space, code and chaos. She has taken part of several international and local festivals in collaboration with some other artists as well as individually. She is graduated as professor and bachelor in Arts at National University of La Plata, Argentina. Education is a fundamental part in her production. Flor is part of CLiC (live coders collective) from Argentina. She is also an active community collaborator of Hydra, a live coding browser software developed by Olivia Jack.
